How do I enable Touch ID, Face ID or Biometric Authentication for the PC Financial app?

Biometric Authentication is a form of security that measures and matches biometric features of a user like Face or Touch ID on iOS or Fingerprint Scanner on Android to verify that the person trying to access a particular device is authorized to do so. We are happy to offer this convenience on both iOS and Android devices.

Steps to enable biometric authentication on iOS:

1. Login to the PC Financial Mobile App.

2. Click on the "More" menu by tapping the four dots on the bottom of your screen.

3. Look for “Touch ID" or "Face ID” in the menu.

4. Toggle the switch to the “On” position (slide right) and follow the steps on-screen to turn on fingerprint ID or facial recognition (Face or Touch ID).

Steps to enable biometric authentication on Android:

1. Login to your PC Financial Android app.

2. Click on the "More" menu by tapping the four dots on the bottom of your screen.

3. Tap on “My Profile” and look for “Enable biometric authentication”.

4. Toggle the switch to the “On” position (slide right) and follow the steps on-screen to turn on Fingerprint.
